”I think you could fall in love with anyone if you saw the parts of them that no one else gets to see. Like if you followed them around invisibly for a day and you saw them crying in their bed at night or singing to themselves as they make a sandwich or even just walking along the street and even if they were really weird and had no friends at school, I think after seeing them at...

A thing... another thing that is annoying.
a thing that is annoying along with all the other things that annoy me is when interviewers in magazines or websites put everything they said into their interview transcript. Okay it’s okay if you are both equally famous or not famous, or it’s a discussion or dialogue, but when you really want to hear what the interviewee has to say it’s quite annoying when half the word count is...

I'm looking at pictures of chilli cheese dogs on...
hot dog, bread, chilli, a shit-tonne of cheese and raw onion and sometimes jalepenos and also fries as well??? How have all Americans not died of heartburn yet? I have, sincerely, got heartburn right now from looking at the pictures.

Men Often Misread Women's Sexual Cues →
tooyoungforthelivingdead:
moxielicious:
Are you laughing yet? A short study was done with US undergrads, here are the “conclusions”
Men who wanted a short-term sexual encounter were more likely to overestimate a woman’s desire for them.
Men who believed they were “hot” also thought the women were hot for them, but men who were actually considered attractive by women did not think this way.

I've got a cold, but I'm on jobseekers, are they...
I mean I’m meant to have been applying for jobs, but I’ve been mostly just having baths. But I bet if I say that to them they will be like ‘where is your doctor’s note?’ Doctor’s notes cost £20!! that’s 40% of my weekly allowance. 40%!! And I still don’t know what happens if I go on tour or on holiday…

I need y’all to stop talking to me or about me BC you don’t pay attention to what i actually said. I never said that all disabilities are bad. Or that the social model is always wrong. I never said that people with sex related disabilities don’t deserves sex or cannot perform for anyone. I even mentioned that I have dated sometimes with a sexual disability and it didn’t work.
I...

I really hate that emotionally manipulative crap. Hey, instead of writing anything resembling quality, intelligent television, let’s just show a man hurtling towards his death and thinking of his wife to upset viewers into responding at all to our trash.
NO YOU’RE OVERREACTING
I know I really found that episode unsatisfactory. The xmas episodes amplify everything I dislike about...

Misogyny overload.
this film promotes abstinence-only sex ed and slut-shaming “Sit down ladies. How is anyone going to respect you if you don’t respect yourselves?”

I am watching '17 Again'
with Matthew Perry and Zak Efron. Could this be the most misogynistic opening to a film like evar!? First his pregnant girlfriend stops him from achieving his dreams as a basketball star and now NOW she’s divorcing him and he’s working in viagra sales with a load of women, HE’S THE ONLY MAN OH NO! AND THEN AN UNDEREXPERIENCED WOMAN GOT THE BIG PROMOTION INSTEAD OF HIM! And all...

cool-schmool replied to your link: Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close the movie trailer. (Based on the Jonathan Safran Foer novel)
oh somebody was freaking out on Tumblr the other day because apparently in the film version the kid has Asperger’s? and according to this person an Asperger’s diagnosis requires schizoid PD and “acts of malice” (news to me)
Actually I’m pleased (if) they come...
2008: wow i was so stupid last year
2009: wow i was so stupid last year
2010: wow i was so stupid last year
2011: wow i was so stupid last year
2012: wow i was so stupid last year
I had this thing in 2003, when I was 9, when I decided I would stop doing this. Like, I just made a mental note to myself to remember how I felt at that age, and to not...let my future self dismiss it, I guess. And since then I've never been able to do the 'I was so stupid last year' thing with any commitment. I see it more in terms of 'I still had so much to learn last year, same as the year before and this year and next year'. I love how zen this sounds. I really can't stress enough how much this is not representative of most of my mind...

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close the movie... →
I liked this book though I’m quite sick of stories about that ‘special child’, you know the sensitive child like no other with extra special abilities which every bourgeois parent thinks they have. And I think they’ve changed it for the film to put more emphasis on the twin towers’ collapse and make the father (Tom Hanks) more present.

i took it and i thought it would just be some dumb teen magazine quiz thing but it is seriously NUTS. i am a ENFP (extraverted intuitive feeling perceiving) and the descriptions are so ridic, as if someone literally wrote about my life/feelings and then took my name out. it doesn’t hurt that the descriptions for this type are super complimentary for the most part though haha (aside...
